Q: What are Quests?
A: Quests are the interactive roleplay events or scenes that have been pre planned by staff, or by other players to achieve a specific goal. Usually this goal is to achieve fame, a title, rare items, or even to further their own character’s development through a predisposition ed roleplay in mind. Think of it as dungeongineering, but with words!
Questing in Euphoria follow that same principle, although unlike other roleplay sims, the plan is to have it so that players can essentially interact and micro-manage each other, to the point that they aren’t requiring a staff member to create a really good roleplay.
Q: QP (Quest Point) Tokens?
A: That would be correct! Instead of staff going around and finding a potential victim to create a story around - instead, players that roleplay well with staff will be rewarded with a quest token.
These tokens can be kept to cache in for an exclusive roleplay that they request with a staff member, or they can give it to another player that they feel deserves it for a roleplay that they were a part of. Tokens are very rare - and the more tokens a player keeps, the more elaborate the roleplay and consequences will be!
2 QP: A small roleplay with two others or an important figure to cause an event. (This could be anything to planning a heist, a treasure hunt, or throwing a ball or party to gain fame or infamy. Important figures include god children, or other monsters.)
3 QP: A small roleplay with 3 others for a quest. (At this point we’re going to the questing stage. The player chooses three others to go on a quest. A staff member is chosen to be the DM, and the players will get common loot - and one uncommon will be awarded to the spender of QP. The staff member rewards all other players besides the QP spender with one QP token. Small quests are at least a 24-72 IC hour time span.)
4 QP: A small roleplay with up to 4 others for a quest. (At this point we’re going to the questing stage. The player chooses 4 others to go on a quest. A staff member is chosen to be the DM, and the players will get uncommon loot - and one rare will be awarded to the spender of QP. The staff member rewards all other players besides the QP spender with up to 2 QP tokens. Small quests are at least a 24-72 IC hour time span.)

RULES:
- To Gain A Title, users must participate in either: 4 small roleplays, 2 medium roleplays, or 1 large roleplay. They DO NOT have to be the QP spender at any point.
To Become a Champion, users MUST participate in 3, 15 QP quests, and spend 15 QP for at least one of those quests.
- After A Quest, There is a cool down period for staff, and spender of 72 hours to a week according to quest size. (Small quest: 3 days, Medium: 5 days, Large, 7 days.) Meaning, that a QP spender cannot spend tokens for those periods, and that particular staff member gets time to relax after a quest they were part of for that allotted time. (If they want to, that is.) Players can still participate in other people’s quests, however.
- THE QUEST FAILS WHEN, The QP spender does not achieve their goal, is permanently unable to act (aka death.) or if everyone part of the quest is rendered unconscious (or also dead.)
- IF A QUES FAILS, The consequences are decided by the staff member in charge, and whatever they say is LAW. That being said, it is discussed with other staff members before the quest is even created, and is put to a vote before carried out.
- QP WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Regardless of failure, or if the players did not enjoy the rp or the outcome.
- During Event RPs, such as holidays and sim wide events, staff members will be all hands on deck and hand out tokens to players.
- IF THE EVENT IS MADE BY A PLAYER VIA TOKENS, They will be given the same amount of tokens they’ve spent for the event to give out to players. ONLY ONE TOKEN PER PLAYER CAN BE GIVEN.
Q: Who can participate?
A: Anyone! It doesn’t matter if they’re a day old on sim, or a veteran! The only requirement is for the player to have an approved character. Although, a player cannot have alts during any of these events participating with another character that is their own.
Q: What do the forums have to do with this?
A: Some of the quests are so large and elaborate, a staff member is completely allowed to host the event on the forum itself as a paragraph RP. This makes it easier for everyone involved to participate without having to log into SL all the time to be part of a really big quest - as well as it makes it easier to document for the staff.
However, if a staff member, or QP spender involved in the quest does not reply in 48 hours without a legitimate reason stated, The quest will be disbanded and the QP will not be refunded UNLESS it’s the staff member that went MIA. If it’s a player that was supposed to be involved that went MIA, they will be replaced with an NPC dummy. This player CANNOT die, though they WILL NOT receive any rewards due to not being involved.
Q: How do I know I got a quest?
You'll know that you got a quest due to having something like this being sent to you on SL, or on the forums here:
Rewards
Description Describe what the Quest is about and what it will do for the player who achieves it. Objectives
